You've built calculators, grants pages and case studies. 95% of your traffic comes from two rankings

This review is about who your website brings in. We went through the site, your search rankings and your reviews. The site itself is genuinely well built: 28 pages, none broken, real installer photography, real named case studies, six real articles on grants and financing. None of that is thin content. The problem is that almost all of your real traffic comes from just two rankings, and the rest of that real content earns close to nothing. It's all detailed below, with what to do about each one.

Pages built, none broken

Calculators, grants, case studies, six real articles.

Nearly all of it from one ambiguous local listing.

01 The rankings

Two rankings carry the whole site

Your site ranks for 25 searches in Ireland. Nearly all of your real traffic, 95 percent, comes from just the top two rows below. Everything else you've built, the calculators, the grants content, the national searches, earns close to nothing.

What people GooglePeople / monthYour situation

solar farms ireland390From your agricultural page.44th
taims solar grant140From your grants content.58th

The pattern is consistent. Two rankings do all the work. The calculators, the case studies, the grant articles, all real and all well built, sit past position 40 on the searches they target. This is not a thin site. It's a well-built site whose real content hasn't been aimed at the searches with volume behind them yet.

Bottom line: Your real content exists. It just isn't where the searches are yet.
02 The specifics

Four things holding the real numbers down

Weak
One ambiguous listing carries 84% of your traffic
"Solar panels carlow" shows in Google's map-style results rather than a confirmed organic position. It's your single biggest source of visitors, and it isn't a ranking you can point to a specific page and improve directly.
Duplicate
Two pages compete for "solar panel financing"
Your dedicated finance page holds 5th. A separate article about financing also targets the identical search and sits at 83rd. Google has to decide which version to trust, and the article is doing nothing for you.
Weak
Your calculators and grant pages earn almost no traffic
The domestic calculator, the TAMS 3 calculator, the grants content and six real articles all exist and all rank somewhere past position 40. This is genuinely useful content that Google currently sends almost nobody to.
Weak
Carlow appears twice on your own homepage
For a business based in Carlow, the county is mentioned only twice on the page that's supposed to say where you work.
Worth noticing

This is not a design problem, and it isn't a rebuild. The site has real installer photos, real named case studies and genuinely useful calculators and grant content. This is aim: pointing real, existing pages at the searches with volume behind them, and giving each search one page instead of two.

Bottom line: The infrastructure is already built. It needs aiming, not rebuilding.
03 Done for you

The fixes, already written out

Each fix below is ready to hand to whoever manages the site.

Fix 1 · New text for your Google listing
This is what people see when Sun Arc comes up on Google today, next to what it should say. The current version never names Carlow, where nearly all of your real traffic already comes from.

Fix 2 · One page for "solar panel financing"
Pick the page listed as the owner, and have the other link to it instead of repeating the same content.
solar panel financing → owner: the finance page (5th today, one article behind it splitting the same search)
Fix 3 · Point your real content at the searches it should win
These pages already exist. Ordered by the size of the search they're missing.
Homepage → aim more directly at "solar" (1.3K a month), currently 67th
Domestic calculator → aim at "solar panels ireland cost calculator" (590 a month), currently 12th
Agricultural page → aim at "solar farms ireland" (390 a month), currently 44th
Grants content → aim at "taims solar grant" (140 a month), currently 58th

05 What it adds up to

Run your own numbers on it

Those four searches add up to

Around 2,420 searches every month, across solar, the cost calculator, solar farms and the grant.

About 1 visit a month currently arrives from those same searches.

84% of all your traffic comes from a single ambiguous local listing.

That gap isn't traffic you've lost, it's real pages waiting to be aimed properly. You've already proven the site can rank, the local listing and the finance page show that. The calculators and grant content just need the same treatment. You know your average job value and your close rate. Run those numbers against 2,420 a month once the pages are aimed. That's the sum worth doing on your side.

Bottom line: The searches worth winning add up to real numbers. Right now two rankings are carrying all of it.
Why sooner beats later

Your traffic and keyword count are both growing, 8% and 4.2% over the past month. That's real momentum. The risk is that the growth keeps landing on the same one or two rankings instead of spreading across the real content you've already paid to build.
